The following general conditions apply to individuals purchasing tickets through the website andorradirectbus.es (“General Conditions”). Together with the Legal Notice, Privacy Policy, and Cookie Policy, they constitute the applicable legal framework (“Legal Terms”) for the use of the Website and the purchase of transport tickets (“Tickets”), both online and at authorized establishments (“Establishment”). These terms will be updated periodically, and the ones published at the time of using the website (“Web”) or making a purchase at the Establishment will apply.
The Legal Terms apply to transactions carried out on the Web and online from their publication date, concerning Tickets purchased when these General Conditions were available, remaining in force permanently for all that is provided therein. Tickets refer to any type of transport ticket purchased to travel to any available destination and/or any other service (“Service”) offered through the Web, by phone, or at the Establishment, as applicable.
The use of the Web and the purchase of any Ticket attribute the status of the client (hereinafter, “Client”) to the user. The Client’s acceptance of these General Conditions is an essential requirement for formalizing any contractual relationship between the Client and ADB.
1. Identification and Contact
The website andorradirectbus.es is owned by Autocares Julià SL, with NIF B08095390 / 914074-F, registered office: C/ Pablo Iglesias, 84, 08908 L’Hospitalet de Llobregat (Barcelona), Spain, and email address info@julia.net, and AUTOCARS NADAL, S.A., with NIF 914074-F, and registered office at Avda. Tarragona, 44-46, AD500 Andorra La Vella, Principat d’Andorra (Together “ADB”).
2. Object and Scope of Application
As a Client, you acknowledge, at the time of purchase (“Purchase”), the General Conditions published on the Web and expressly declare acceptance without reservation. The Purchase and its confirmation imply full and complete acceptance of these General Conditions, as well as acceptance of the other Legal Terms and any others expressly indicated.
3. Purchase Conditions
3.1 Online Ticket Purchase
When using the Web and making purchases, Clients commit to:
- Use the Web for legally valid inquiries or purchases.
- Not make false or fraudulent purchases. If it is reasonably considered that a Client has made such a purchase, ADB is authorized to cancel it and inform the relevant authorities.
- Provide truthful and accurate data necessary to process the purchase.
When making a purchase through the Web, you declare that you are over 18 years old and have legal capacity to enter into contracts.
- How to Make a Purchase
To make a purchase through the Web, follow the established procedure, completing all required fields and selecting the day, time, and type of Ticket you want to purchase. After completing the data, you will be directed to the chosen payment gateway. Once the payment is made, you will receive an email with the reservation number and the electronic Ticket. Keep the confirmation email as proof.
ADB reserves the right not to complete the sale for reasons such as fraudulent purchase or suspicion of the buyer’s age. Regardless, ADB will inform of such circumstances as soon as possible, offering an alternative solution when possible.
b. Technical Means to Correct Errors
The Web has confirmation windows at each step of the purchase process. Additionally, it provides details of the Tickets you want to buy, allowing you to check and, if necessary, modify the purchase data before making the payment.
3.2 Ticket Purchase at the Counter
Clients also have the option to purchase Tickets at the Establishment’s counters, subject to availability and compliance with the Legal Terms.
4. Tickets and Their Validity
4.1 Tickets
Tickets are personal and non-transferable, unless stated otherwise. Modifying or copying Tickets is prohibited. Each Ticket is reserved for use by the person whose name appears on it. When boarding the bus, ADB may require the Client to present an identification document (ID or passport). There are different types of Tickets:
- Single Tickets
Within this option, the Client can purchase various types of Tickets, including:
- One-way ticket.
- Round-trip ticket with a specific return date.
- Round-trip ticket with an undetermined return date.
These Tickets are personal and non-transferable.
b. Multi-journey Passes
The Client can purchase Multi-journey Passes, allowing the acquisition of multiple Tickets at once, redeemable as needed, either through the Web or at the Establishment. These Tickets can be used by different people. However, once the Ticket is formalized and the data is entered, the Ticket can only be used by that person.
As a general rule, the Customer is entitled to transport one piece of luggage up to 30 kg in the hold free of charge, being 4 the total number of pieces of luggage allowed in the hold per passenger.
ADB will charge a supplement for the second suitcase in the luggage hold. However, certain luggage may be subject to certain special conditions and/or restrictions, so please check in advance.
4.2 Validity
The validity of a Ticket can be verified through various means. The Client, as the bearer, agrees to present the Ticket when boarding the vehicle (“Vehicle”). The Ticket can be presented either in print, provided it has a minimum quality for reading, or in electronic format. Tickets purchased for a specific day are only valid for that day. If a round-trip ticket is purchased with the return date undetermined, it must be used within six months from the date of purchase and is only accepted subject to seat availability.
Multi-journey Passes, are valid for one year from the date of purchase. If tickets are not used within the stated period, unused tickets will be forfeited without refund. Please note that tickets purchased with season tickets must be used before the expiry date of the season ticket and cannot be used at a later date.
If a Ticket is forged or acquired fraudulently (resulting in reporting to the competent authorities), it will be destroyed, and the bearer will not be allowed on the buses.
5. Price and Payment Method
5.1 Price
Ticket prices are those displayed on the Web at the time of purchase, including applicable taxes and those indicated by the agent when the purchase is made by phone. Prices may change at any time, but any changes will not affect Tickets for which a purchase confirmation has already been sent. The prices for each type of Ticket will be expressed in euros (€). Unless stated otherwise, product prices shown on the Web include legally applicable taxes (Spanish VAT).
5.2 Discounts
The following discounts will be applied to the final price of Tickets if any of the following requirements are met:
Age discounts:
a. 0 to 3 years: 80%
b. 4 to 12 years: 50%
c. 13 to 25 years: 10%
d. 60 years and older: 10%
5.3 Campaigns and Promotions
All promotional campaigns programmed by ADB are subject to specific conditions specified at the time of purchase. These conditions will prevail over any other condition.
6. Admission, Assistance and Travel Rules
ADB reserves the right to deny admission in the event of Clients’ non-compliance with any of the Legal Terms and/or any others specified at the time of Ticket purchase. In such cases, Clients are not entitled.
In addition, and generally for entry to the Vehicles, unless expressly stated otherwise:
- Only the first Ticket presented at the indicated control point will be considered valid, and subsequent attempts to access with the same Ticket will not be accepted.
- The Ticket must be presented at the indicated control point, where it will be validated using a scanner.
- The Principality of Andorra does not belong to the EEC and therefore, the Customer must carry the necessary documentation to be able to travel (NIF or Passport). Failure to carry the necessary documentation could cause problems for the Customer at the border depending on their nationality and ADB will not assume this responsibility.
7. Prohibitions
- Clients may not resell or transfer their Tickets when prohibited by law, when Tickets are nominative, or when expressly stated as non-transferable. If the Client needs to change or transfer Tickets, they must contact ADB.
- Smoking inside the bus is prohibited in accordance with regulations. Violation by the Client may be subject to penalties.
- For hygiene reasons, eating inside the bus is prohibited.
8. Cancellation Policy
8.1 Cancellation
In the event of cancellation, ADB will refund the Customer the amount of the Single Ticket within 2 days of the departure of the service, free of charge.
In case of cancellation, ADB will deduct 10% of the value of the ticket if requested between 48 hours and 24 hours before the departure of the service.
In case of cancellation, ADB will deduct 30% of the value of the ticket if requested between 24 and 2 hours before the departure of the service.
In case of cancellation less than 2 hours before departure, no refund will be made.
For Multi-Trip Passes, the Customer may cancel it at the ticket office up to 12 hours before departure without deductions, after which time it will not be refunded.
For some of the Tickets, they may be subject to specific cancellation conditions, which will be specified at the time of Purchase.
In the event of cancellation of the service due to force majeure, ADB reserves the right to relocate the Customer to another frequency or to refund the full amount of the Ticket. In any case, this does not entitle the Customer to any type of compensation.
In the event of changes, only two changes to the single ticket are permitted free of charge.
9. Limitations of Liability
9.1 Limitation of Liability
ADB will not assume responsibility for personal or material damages caused by imprudence or non-compliance with the rules of behavior and use of buses. Likewise, in case of loss, breakdown, damage, or theft of luggage, the carriers’ responsibility will be governed by Royal Decree 1136/97 of July 11. Hand luggage is at the sole risk of the Client.
9.2 Force Majeure
ADB will not assume responsibility for possible Service cancellations and/or Establishment closures due to force majeure, such as pandemics, wars, strikes, fire, explosion, storm, flood, epidemic, or any other natural disaster, etc. Economic losses (including loss of income, profits, contracts, business, or expected savings) or loss of goodwill or reputation or losses for special or indirect damages suffered or incurred arising out of or in connection with these General Conditions.
During the aforementioned events, the obligations established in these General Conditions will be understood as suspended while the cause persists.
10. Intelectual and Industrial Property
The contents of the website are the property of ADB and are fully protected in accordance with Royal Decree 1/1996, of April 12, which approves the consolidated text of the Intellectual Property Law. Therefore, any download or copy of a page or part of the website is authorized only if the copyright notice and other protected terms are not modified.
The trademarks, trade names, or distinctive signs of any kind appearing on the Web are the property of ADB or, if any, Collaborating Companies, or have been published with the consent of their rightful owners. Access to the Web does not imply that Users are granted any rights over said trademarks, trade names, and/or distinctive signs.
To report any possible breaches of intellectual or industrial property rights or any content on the Web, you can contact ADB at atencionalcliente@andorradirectbus.es, attaching relevant information.
In any case, ADB will not assume any responsibility for the intellectual or industrial property rights owned by third parties that may be infringed by Web Users, Clients, or any other person unrelated to ADB
11. Data Protection
The information or personal data provided as a Client will be processed in accordance with the provisions of the Privacy Policy. ADB guarantees the confidentiality of the data provided for the acquisition of Products offered through the Web and their processing in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council, of April 27, 2016, regarding the protection of individuals regarding the processing of personal data and the free movement of such data (“GDPR”) and Organic Law 3/2018, of December 5, on the Protection of Personal Data and guarantee of digital rights (“LOPDGDD”).

12. Complete Agreement
These General Conditions and the other Legal Terms, as well as any document expressly referred to in them, constitute the entire agreement between ADB and the Client.
13. Partial Nullity
If any part of these General Conditions is declared null and void by a final resolution issued by a competent authority, the remaining General Conditions will remain in force without being affected by said declaration of nullity.
14. Modification
In the case of ticket changes, ADB only allows 2 changes free of charge. If requested 1 hour before the departure of the service, it will be made free of charge.
In the event that the Ticket has been modified, ADB is not obliged to cancel the Ticket.
In case of modifications less than 1 hour before the departure of the service, ADB will deduct 100% of the Ticket value.
ADB reserves the right to revise and modify these General Conditions at any time. As a Customer, you will be bound by the General Terms and Conditions in force at the time you use the Website and/or purchase Tickets.
15. Assignment
These General Conditions constitute a binding contract for both you as a Client and ADB, as well as for the respective successors, assignees, and heirs. You may not transfer, assign, encumber, or otherwise transfer the contract or any rights or obligations derived from it without obtaining prior written consent.
ADB may transfer, assign, encumber, subcontract, or otherwise transfer the contract or any rights or obligations derived from it at any time during its validity.
To avoid any doubt, such transfers, assignments, encumbrances, or other transfers will not affect the rights that, if any, are recognized as a consumer by law, nor will they annul, reduce, or otherwise limit the warranties, both express and implied, that may have been granted.
16. Waiver
ADB’s failure to strictly require Clients to comply with any of the obligations assumed under the Legal Terms, or these General Conditions, or the failure of ADB to exercise the rights or actions that may correspond under the contract or these General Conditions, will not constitute a waiver or limitation regarding such rights or actions nor exempt you from complying with such obligations.
No waiver by ADB of a specific right or action will constitute a waiver of other rights or actions arising from the contract or these General Conditions, unless expressly stated as a waiver and formalized and communicated to the Client in writing.
17. Applicable Legistation and Jurisdiction
The present General Conditions are governed by the current applicable legislation, and by the following agreement, the intervening parties agree that any dispute shall be definitively resolved through arbitration within the framework of the Arbitration Tribunal of the Barcelona Bar Association, which is entrusted with the administration of arbitration and the appointment of arbitrators in accordance with its Regulations and Statutes. Likewise, the parties expressly state their commitment to abide by the arbitral award that is issued. The arbitral award will be final and binding for the parties, who shall accept it without conditions.
As a subsidiary measure and in the event it is necessary, the parties submit, with an express waiver of any jurisdiction that may correspond to them, to the Courts and Tribunals of Barcelona. Notwithstanding the foregoing, both parties will do everything reasonably necessary to try to resolve conflicts amicably and through the extrajudicial dispute resolution methods they may resort to.
